Ultra rare surf mono LP Sounds of Hawaii SH5014 Volume 2 "Waikiki Surf Battle" features a VERY RARE surf compilation that was recorded live at the WAIKIKI SHELL on September 14, 1963. It was a battle of 18 bands vying for the top spot. There was a total of 10,000 fans that saw the SPIEDELS win 1st prize. Other bands include the Royal Victors, Regents, Dukes, Vaqueros, Road Runners, Strollers, Harmonics and the Bel-Aires. Really hot surf sounds from the early 60's recorded live at the peak of the surf sound craze.

Condition Cover 7- or VG+ no ring wear,back discolorization,a few marks on the front cover/Record 8 or NM- black and shiny,heavier vinyl.
