Wagner's The Ring of the Nibelung
Complete in English!
- Complete New 20 Record Set Recorded Live! -
This listing is for a very rare set of records: Richard Wagner's "The Ring of the Nibelung" Complete Opera Cycle on Vinyl IN ENGLISH. There are 4 boxed sets of each of the four operas: The Valkyrie (SLS 5063), Twilight of the Gods (SLS 5118), Siegfried (SLS 875) and The Rhinegold (SLS 5032). The opera was conducted by Reginald Goodall and recorded live at the London Coliseum in association with the Peter Moores Foundation in 1976 by EMI. It was performed by The English National Opera Company. All of the records are 12" 33 RPM recordings and there are 20 total records. The Valkyrie is the only of the operas that isn't new, the rest are sealed. The Valkyrie appears to have been very carefully listened to once, as there are very faint spindle lines on the labels. The records are in NEAR MINT condition. The case itself has some mild shelf wear and is in VERY GOOD condition. Twilight of the Gods, Siegfried and The Rhinegold are all factory sealed! The outer slip cover has some minor scuffing from years of storage and the original price tag on the front, but still looks great. This is an extremely rare complete set of "Goodall's Ring" in English and likely the only chance for an English speaking opera fan to get the whole set on mint vinyl! Don't miss it! - U.S. Post Office Delivery Confirmation numbers are not tracking numbers. They are meant to provide confirmation of delivery only, and the Post Office rarely updates the stops along the way. Don’t get scared if it says “ELECTRONIC SHIPPING INFO REC’D” or “LEFT BELL CA” for days on end – mostly it gets updated after the package is delivered which isn’t incredibly helpful for knowing when your package will arrive.
