Description
"Der Ring des Nibelungen" (The Ring of the Nibelung)- Complete 1955 Bayreuth stereo cycle conducted by Joseph Keilberth. I have play tested one record from each separate box, they played phenomenally. I visually inspected all others. All looked great. I found two very small hairline scratches on two separate records. The first one was located on Die Walkures side 9 about a quarter of the way through. The area played fine (no skipping) it did produce a slight pop which lasted a few minutes. The second is located Gotterdammerung side one about a quarter way through. It also played fine, just some slight pops for a few minutes. Boxes look great. Das Rheingold has a slight bend in the top of the box (it looks like it was picked up there). Siegfried has a two-and-a-half-inch small split on the spine bottom middle of the box. All four booklets are in outstanding condition. Das Rheingold has some very slight bends on the top right of the first few pages. This edition is not numbered or a promo copy.
