Description

Wagner Klemperer conducts More Wagner UK Columbia SAX 2464 Magic Notes

 

On “Klemperer conducts more Wagner”, Otto Klemperer conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in performances of music from “Das Rheingold”, “Die Walkurie, “Parsifal” and other Wagner Operas.  An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2464), the labels are blue / green with black lettering, silver border and “radio waves” and magic notes logo. The record has two substantial scuffs on side two, which do not appear to sound, and it plays and sounds superb with only occasional low-level surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed and there is a small tear at the bottom left-hand corner.
