Richard Wagner - Der Ring Des Nibelungen
Special Presentation Set - 22LP Box Set
Decca Records, Made in England, 1st pressing, 1965.
Performed by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Georg Solti.
The box has 5 separate removable sections: “An Introduction to…”, Götterdämmerung, Siegfried, Die Walküre and Das Rheingold.
This was my grandfather's pride and joy. When he passed away, it went to my father. He much prefers blues and gospel, so now it has come to me. I am putting together a deposit for a house, so here it is for someone to appreciate and love as my grandfather did.
The records themselves are in excellent (EX) condition. They shows signs of being played, but there is no reduction in sound quality.
The individual sleeves and box are in VG to VG+ condition. One of the sleeves is beginning to come apart at the join, but can be re-glued. The labels on each of the removable sections are a little worn.
I will ship this at no cost to anywhere in the world.
