Up for bids is a great, rare, self-titled mono Jazz LP by Wynton Kelly. Riverside Records. RLP 12-254. 1958.ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING ON THE SMALL 3 1/2" RIVERSIDE LABELS!
DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
Comes with plastic inner sleeve in VG++ condition (record will be shipped in separate polylined sleeve and outside cover).
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in VG to VG+ condition. Front is nice some minor wear. Back of cover has some light browning by the edges. Small punch-hole in middle of cover. Bottom of cover, next to spine, has a 1 3/8" split. All other sides are completely intact! Look at that spine photo! Strong and sturdy, this is a still a nice example of this cover.
I would rate the record’s condition as VG++. Looks gorgeous with some visual superficial marks that do not greatly affect play. Aforementioned small punch-hole through labels. Record sounds amazing on my player!
Makes a great gift for any Wynton Kelly fan!
