WRITING ON THE WALL. Ultra rare UK first pressing. No counterfeit! Stamped matrix number. Middle Earth MDLS 303.
One of the GREATEST progressive records, heavy, melodic, groovy! Every song is a killer! Should be in every collection of 60s/70s records!
Condition of record: very good+. Record does have very light scuffs, but no scratches. Middle earth used in Britain only cheap vinyl, so nearly all of their pressings have more or less noise, but they have a great groovy heavy and clean sound. Although this one plays with some light surface noise (mostly only to be heard in the quieter passages), for a british middle earth pressing it still sounds fine. Very enjoyable copy.
Condition of cover: very good-. Has some wear on the edges and a few remains from old tape (no tears or rips!), but no seamsplit, writing or any other damages. Still in nice condition.
Condition of labels: very good+. Still in very nice condition, no writing or any other damages. Great.
Strict grading: mint/mint-/very good+/very good/very good-/good+/good/good-/worn/poor. (NO excellent or mint-- or very good++ or anything like that!!) A record that is graded mint/mint looks new and play without any (!) deterioration in sound. A record graded good/good is still enjoyable and has no serious defects. Records that are manipulated on ("buffed" records) are graded as worn in the best case!
