MOZART REQUIEM –
Proprius PROP 7815 Gatefold –
Preferred Swedish Pressing –
STUNNING!
Very fine recording here, that captures The Stockholm Conservatory with the Choir of St. Jacob, performing Mozart’s REQUIEM, Stefan Skold conducting.
Soloist support comes from Margareta Hallin, Anne-Marie Muhle, Brian Burrows, and Magnus Linden.
Gatefold cover is without major fault, clean and crisp; Swedish pressing inside will play near mint.
Very spacious, defined recording, in the natural acoustic tradition. The performers are quite simply before you.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
