Attention all Elvis fans!
Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits Vol. 1 was a compilation box set of the first 50 songs by Elvis Presley that gained Gold Award status.
The four-album set was released in August 1970 as his 38th album.
Of the 51 tracks featured, four make their album debut in this collection: "Viva Las Vegas", "Suspicious Minds", "Don't Cry Daddy", and "Kentucky Rain”.
Also included is a track of excerpts from the "Elvis Sails" interview which RCA had agreed to release as an album of the press conference Elvis gave on the day he left for Germany.
The four LP albums come in illustrated sleeves inside a solid box set (see pictures). Note that the Photo Book mentioned on the box set is not included.
