STYLE FROM FOLK ROCK THROUGH PSYCHEDELIC ROCK
THIS IS A FIRST PRESS. LABEL: COTILLION -SD3-500 RELEASED IN 1970 FORMAT IS 3 X VINYL, LP, ALBUM WITH A 3 PIECE GATEFOLD. THE COVER IS IN EX. CONDITION WITH AGE APPROPRIATE WEAR FOR A 47 YEAR OLD RECORD. THE 3 VINYLS ARE IN EX. CONDITION. ORIGINAL SLEEVES IN VG+. CONDITION
I use Goldmine® visual grading and always try to grade conservatively. 
M (mint) Record~ is new, shiny, never played. Sealed M  (Mint) Jacket~ is new no marks, almost always sealed.
NM (near mint) Record~ is like new, probably played a few times, may have one or two light marks but it doesn't effects on the quality of a sound.  NM (near mint  Jacket~ is like new, may have a light corner bump, maybe one or two small creases. One or two light flaws.
EX (excellent) Record~ in great shape, may have light marks, played more than a few times but low in surface noise or no surface noise. EX (excellent) Jacket~ in great shape, has very little edge, spine and corner wear, a light corner bump, maybe some light creasing or ring wear. Maybe a sticker or two.
VG+ (very good plus) Record~ has been played more times, it has light marks and surface noise but doesn't overwhelm the music. It is well taken care of and it doesn't skip. VG+ (very good plus) Jacket~ may have more spine and edge wear, More ring wear, one or more stickers, light writing, a punch hole saw or corner cut. Light corner bends could have more creasing as well. No splits.
VG (very good) Record~ has been played many times, may have more surface noise, but it shouldn't skip while playing. VG (very good) Jacket~ has noticeably more spine and edge wear, some splits, more ring wear, tape, corner bends and creases, writing, punch holes and saw cuts could be in this category.
G (good) Record~ is in bad condition, this is worth only for archive items - just to have that until you find better. G (good) Jacket~ Very bad shape, only using until a better one is found.

Track listing

On the LP release, side one was backed with side six, side two was backed with side five, and side three was backed with side four. This was common on multi-LP sets of the time, to accommodate the popular record changer turntables.

Most of the tracks have some form of stage announcement, conversation by the musicians, etc., lengthening the tracks to an extent. Times are listed as the length of time the music was played in the song, while times in parentheses indicate the total running time of the entire track.

2. "We're Not Gonna Take It" (Pete Townshend) – 4:39 (6:54)
   • Performed by The Who. (The performance on the album picks up mid-song at the very end of the "We're Not Gonna Take It" portion and then finishes with the "See Me, Feel Me" and "Listening to You" sections.) The final 1:50 of the track is an emergency announcement and the statement that declared "It's a free concert from now on".
3. "With a Little Help from My Friends" (John Lennon, Paul McCartney) – 7:50 (10:06)

The improvised, fast solo section immediately following "Purple Haze" was heavily cut in the original Woodstock film and soundtrack, and most of the track here is what would later be titled "Villanova Junction", a slow bluesy ballad with the band joining in the background. The uncut version of the solo was restored in the director's cut of Woodstock and on the video of Jimi Hendrix: Live at Woodstock and titled "Woodstock Improvisation")
