Jay Mala And Revolver

Jay is a resident of Manhattan's Upper West Side and the rest of Revolver are New York natives too. The band consists of Jay Mala, vocals; Phil Sanchez, guitar; Phil Fiet, bass; and Steve Missal, drums. This particular cut produced for the band with the help of Rupert Holmes.

David A. Laracuente And Spring Fever

This Bronx-based group has been together for only a year and a half. This group features David, lead vocal-guitar-keyboard; Ken Laracuente, bass; Richard Brown, keyboard-vocals; Al Izzo, drummer; and Gene Ambrosio, guitar.

Cristy Martin

Cristy is a 6 foot tall singer/model who you may have seen in several TV commercials. This Flatbush resident has appeared at Catch a Rising Star, Improvisation, Dangerfield's, the Playboy Club at Great Gorge, and will soon be going on tour with Gloria Gaynor.

Billy Stewart

Billy was born in Brooklyn, raised in West Babylon, and was the lead singer for the New York-based group Calhoon for 9 years. Besides writing, arranging and singing his own songs, he also plays piano, guitar and bass.

Mixed Company

This Deer Park-based group consists of Gene Lastorino, Joseph Giametta, Bernie Eble, Ronnie Wilcox, Betty Jean Fisher, Greg Scapellati and Don Flareau.

Craig Dayton

Craig is originally from Teaneck, NJ. He was inspired to write this song in 1976 while watching a report about killer bees on NBC-TV's "Weekend" show.

Gamin Featuring Karen Ghee

This Greenwich Village-based band has been together only six months. Karen sings lead vocals with Dennis Genovese providing back-up assistance. This group also features Dennis on keyboards and guitar, Andrew Genovese as drummer, Louie DeLaNoval on bass, and Jerry Gola on lead guitar.

Michael Leonhardt

Michael, a New Haven resident, is a classically trained pianist with extensive experience in jazz combos, rock groups, classical ensembles, and recording studios. He has made numerous nightclub appearances including the Bitter End.

Pana And The Funhouse Band

Lead singer Pana, keyboard player bob McHugh, and drummer Steve Lestina have all appeared at the prestigious Lincoln Center. This newly formed Pompton Plains, New Jersey group also features Steev Lestina, Bass; George Valezmos, guitar; and Jovan, sax-vocals.

Barry Harris

Born and raised in Rockville Center, Barry has become familiar to Nassau county audiences through his work with the group Bulrush. Besides his almost maniacal devotion to studio production experimentation, Barry is also a versatile singer, guitarist and pianist.

We'd also like to introduce you to Frank Puskas, Jr. of Ridgfield, Conneticut, who won our Hometown Album Volume II cover competition with this composite of shots taken in Long Island City while Frank was attending the School Of Visual Arts. In case you're wondering, it's a number 7 train.
