Wizz Jones – The Legendary Me (12” LP)Raymond Ronald "Wizz" Jones (25 April 1939 - 27 April 2025) was an English acoustic guitarist, and singer-songwriter. He performed from the late 1950s and recorded from 1965 until 2025. He possessed what was described as "unparalleled virtuosity" on the guitar and worked with many of the notable guitarists of the British folk revival, such as John Renbourn and Bert Jansch. He taught Keith Richards, Eric Clapton was "an avid follower", and others he influenced included Rod Stewart, Paul Simon and Bruce Springsteen.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that can only be seen under bright light that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that can only be seen under bright light that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (front laminated): excellent (the odd small laminate crease, light aging and very light ring wear on back, signed on the back cover).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. 1715 (GS 9.9.2 (1715))
