THIS IS A SUPERB FIRST PRESSING OF THE ORIGINAL ISSUE OF WIZZ JONES STEREO LP “THE LEGENDARY ME” ON THE UK VILLAGE THING LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION! THE COVER IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE AND TYPE!! DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is VTS 4 on the ORIGINAL VILLAGE THING label (see picture) and is a stereo UK first pressing.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks that I can see! I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS HARDLY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in OUTSTANDING condition for its age and type (see picture)! Village Thing covers were not the sturdiest in the world but this one is very well looked after (by me).
It has NO wear to the spine.
VERY LITTLE of the surface of the front cover has rubbed away over the years, apart from some light ringwear. There are 5 VERY light 0.5cm horizontal creases to the right of the spine caused by the cover originally being displayed in a shop record rack. There are 4 tiny VERY LIGHT vertical creases at the bottom edge. There is a 2cm area at the bottom edge 4cm from the right corner and a 1.5cm area at the top right corner where the shiny surface has slightly detached itself There is a 1.5cm vertical thumb crease 4.5cm from the open edge.
The back of the cover has moderate signs of wear and storage and some VERY LIGHT ringwear near the open edge.
The opening edges are straight but have MODERATE edge wear to the top and bottom.
THIS VINYL LP IS MASSIVELY RARE TO FIND IN THIS MINT CONDITION. DONT MISS OUT!
For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
