This is the RARE UK 1st Press of Wishbone Ash. This earliest press has the 7-224 / 7-225 matrix, the heavy original 70's vinyl and the original company inner sleeve. The vinyl is complete with the 1st press Moore & Matthes Ltd light card gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Both sides have the most sensational mirrored gloss, there are no signs of heavy play or any wear to the grooves at all. There are just a couple of tiny marks and a few light wispy hairlines, but these are insignificant - every track gleams. The earliest pink and red labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is just the slightest spindle wear. The vinyl is complete with the original Stereo inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and warm. Just a few moments of light background noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point. Superb clarity and audio separation from start to finish.
The sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The image is sharp, the text is clear and the inside is like new. There is just the very slightest edge wear and a small price scuff in the corner. The back has slight ring wear but the whole sleeve is still extremely solid and clean.
