SUPER LIVE album issued only in Japan and very rare.
Wishbone Ash were in my top five favourite bands during the seventies and I saw them many times in concert. That they always delivered was no surprise as the band were tight and bursting with consummate musicians including the twin lead guitar work of the bespectacled Andy Powell and 'new boy' Laurie Wisefield. The track listing is generous and impressive with tracks from recent studio albums taking up the main space on sides one and a brilliantly subversive rendition of F.U.B.B which never quite gelled on the studio version. 'The Way Of The World' is also killer providing a rock solid foundation for some of the bands most advanced twin lead work. Elsewhere you've got 'You See Red' and perennial favourites 'Jail Bait' and 'Blowin' Free'.
The recording quality is superb, the band are at the top of their game and the vibe is totally electric - makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!
Pressing: MCA, Japan, 1979 - complete with obi strip
Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny condition. A couple of spindle marks on labels and very little other signs of use. Grade as top MINT-!
Cover: Again, no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated cover. Sharp corner, one micro ding top right, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is perfectly straight, stiff and uncrushed. Comes complete with obi wrap around still fully intact. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 42 years after release. Grades as top archive MINT!
