Description
Rare 1978 Harvest Records, original UK press of Wire's classic 2nd LP. This is the 2nd pressing with the black and white inner sleeve (instead of lilac colored), otherwise the same. Gorgeously warm and powerful sound quality on the original UK press, by far the best version, blows away any and all reissues and digital versions.
VPI cleaned, record looks almost near mint, but has a few spots of light surface noise in some quiet parts on Side 1, otherwise plays excellent, solid VG+ condition. The beautiful matte cover is also VG+, a little dirty around the edges, and some visible rubbing on the left side of front cover, overall still looks really good for its age. The thick rounded-corner inner is in excellent shape, no splits or corner bumps, etc.
