The Winstons : Color Him Father / Amen Brother ( Metromedia 1969)
One of the most sampled record of all time. Midway through the track there is a drum solo which has been sampled and used in thousands of hip hop, pop, drum & bass and jungle tracks. This beat is known as the "Amen break" !! The B side "Color him Father" is a top crossover dancer and still a current spin ! this has been compiled by Paul Weller on his "Under the influence" collection !
Original US 45 ( label a bit worned)
record : Verygood+
