Description
This is a rare and very collectable reggae record from 1969 - on the A side Too Experienced by "King Cool" Winston Francis and on the B side an instrumental Mule Jerk by the great keyboard player Jackie Mittoo (here under the name of Minto), who sadly died of cancer in 1990. On 'Too Experienced' backing vocals were provided by Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer.
PUNCH Catalogue Number: PH 5
Matrices: PM 5 A - 1G (definitely M and not H) and PH 5 B - 1G
The vinyl has a great sheen. The A side is free from marks, while the B side has a small area of very light scuffs and a small surface scratch (see pic 4). However, these do not affect playback in any way and be assured that both sides sound great. Both labels have damage where stickers have been clumsily removed - this can be seen to the right of the spindle hole on the A side and on the fist of the B side. I don't have the original sleeve, so this will have a plain white one.
Even with the damaged labels this is a rare collectors item.
You have my assurance that I play all my records before listing and will always describe any faults that I encounter in playback.
The record will be despatched in a cardboard record mailer, with stiffener.
