Complete with 1st Pres Hipgnosis Credit Thick Carded Gatefold Sleeve, Original Thick Carded Inner Sleeve, Both 1st Press Posters, Two Fasprint Circular Stickers & Original Long 'Planets' Sticker!!!  Impossible to Find a UK 1U//1U 1st Press Fully Complete & in This Condition!!!

Let me start by saying that I have never seen or heard another copy of Venus and Mars that looks or plays like this. It is truly the best UK example you will ever see or hear. You are bidding on a STUNNING UK 1975 1U/1U Capital stereo 1st Pressing of this all time classic LP by Wings!!! It is the original UK 1975 1st pressing, containing the all important Side 1 matrix etching; 'A Porky Prime Cut'. It is also fully complete with all 1st press insert and stickers right down to the very 1st issue 'Fasprint' (the same company who made the very 1st stickers for pink Floyd's DSOTM) circular stickers. I can almost guarantee you will be NOT find another early UK Press complete with all posters AND stickers AND original Inner in this kind of CONDITION throughout!!!

This vinyl is in stunning condition!!! The Classic UK 1st press centre labels are in pristine Near Mint condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Grubbyness, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! Side 2 has NO spindle alignment lines and It is very hard to discern any spindle lines at all on the Side 1 label (there is just one small solitary wisp). Please see the close-up images I have provided below. I can safely tell you that this record has only ever been played once before!  Play grading was done very lightly on a very high grade Mitchell turntable so, to all intents and purposes, it doesn't really count as an additional play. The gramophone rims containing the all-important 1st press Matrix are also obviously Mint!!!

As described above - the 1st press vinyl itself is in Stunning condition!!! There are NO Scratches, NO Hairlines, NO Groovewear, NO Warping, NO Scuffs.  This disc is very close to Near Mint without a single mark on it save for the occasional wispy paperline. Beautiful! Which brings me nicely along the the play-grade, and it is astounding!  This record actually brought shivers down my spine on the play grade. Hearing it like this was almost hearing is for the first time again. It has a beautiful loud clear and defined 1st press stereo punch that will blow you away! And here is the kicker, it is the quietest playing copy I have ever heard!!! There is NO hissing, crackles, pops, etc - no even on the run ins or between tracks! You will never hear a quieter UK copy!  I can say nothing else about this beautiful record - it's absolutely perfect and Near Mint!!! I can say without doubt that this is the best looking and most pristine playing UK pressing you will ever see or hear!

The early 1970's non-laminated gatefold sleeve is also in astounding condition! This is very close to perfect, with NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind! It is completely blemish free with a pristine matt factory sheen - this is how they must have looked when they were purchased from new back in the early 1970's! !!! The sleeve lies perfectly flat and stiff with nice sharp corners & pristine straight unworn spine with Mint legible spine text! It could have been made yesterday. The surface sheen is absolutely pristine! It looks and feels beautiful. Truly stunning. The gatefold opens out perfectly to reveal a pristine Nr Mint- un-laminated inner! There is no wear at all to the opening edges, no ring-wear, no writing/scribbles etc, no discolouration and no blemishes. There is just a light touch of edge wear along the bottom seam Everything about this sleeve is close to perfect  - like I said this is a very special UK 1st press! This sleeve grades as a superb Excellent+++!!

Comes fully complete with all inserts and stickers!!! All stickers are unpeeled and very close to Mint condition and the posters are in Mint condition!

Comes with original **Near Mint** UK thick carded 1st issue inner sleeve!!! It is also nice, clean and crisp with no seam wear/splitting or scribbles/unwanted writing etc. Again, like everything about this album - it is Near Mint!

Do not underestimate the rarity of this record in this kind of condition -  If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. An absolutely essential UK pressing to own in this complete and beautiful condition!!! Don't miss this one!

Please read - It has recently been pointed out to me that some eBay sellers have been using my images without permission. If you are thinking of lifting some images from my pages - please don't. Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards.
