A super rare and original MPL (UK) in-house promo-only picture disc LP released in 1979, in die-cut picture sleeve. This is a genuine original with the correct matrix numbers. It was never made available to the general public for sale. Only 200 were ever pressed and they were only given to Paul McCartney's family, friends and staff of MPL.. hence the extreme rarity. Without a doubt, this is the rarest McCartney collectable. 

It was recorded at Ranachan Studios, Lympne Castle Kent, Replica Studios London and EMI London.. Pressed at EMI Hayes Middlesex England.

Matrix Numbers and Stampers

Side 1: YEX 987-2, faint 5 I ..... Side 2: YEX 988-4, faint 1 7R.The side 1 run-out groove has "Nick W" and the side 2 has "Nick" inscribed on the run-out groove. Only the genuine ones (also stated by Record Collector Price Guide) bear these matrix numbers, especially with the inscribed name.

Cover - A die-cut cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. It's crisp and sturdy.. words alone just can't describe enough just how pristine the cover is..  it feels like it had just come off the printing presses !  Perfect undamaged top and bottom edges.. Perfect the opening edges are straight and very sharp corners.. one faint crease located at the top left corner and a very tiny crease/tear at about 11 o'clock on the die-cut .. graded Near Mint.

Notice the two well superbly-designed red/yellow colours close to the top edge.. and their visual effects when the picture disc is placed inside the die-cut cover (see the 1st image on the top of the page).

Inner Sleeve - Perfect and original soft transparent plastic inner sleeve.. its authenticity is confirmed by the presence of the dark-blue rectangular strip.. graded MINT.

Spine - Perfect spine... you could see just how crisp the whole cover is with the undamaged spine..  graded Near Mint to Mint.

Spindle Area - Graded Near Mint To Mint.

Vinyl - Same picture on both sides. Presence of what looks like faint paper marks in a few places when viewed tilted.. graded Near Mint visually. Truly superb and clean-sounding audio, heard only about two to three very soft and distant background ticks.. graded Near Mint aurally.
