SHIPPING
Shipping to the U.S. is by the United States Postal Service, which limits First
Class Mail to a 13 oz. maximum. A 12" record in a mailing box with protective
cardboard packing weighs 20 oz., too heavy for First Class Mail. Media Mail
with delivery confirmation (for tracking and proof of delivery) is $3.99.
Priority Mail is a faster option. The rates for that service are based on where
the shipment is going and the weight of the package, so there's no one rate
for all areas. I believe that ebay will calculate the costs for you. If not, please
e-mail me for the rates, which include delivery confirmation, special mailing
box and two 12"x12" cardboards.
U.S. buyers can upgrade to USPS's faster Priority Mail for additional cost.
Packages weighing more than 13 ounces must go Media Mail or Priority
Mail, due to the USPS's rules for the maximum weight of First Class Mail.
