Description
Hi! You're looking at an excellent overall condition vinyl LP on the Columbia Records label and a classic Outlaw Country concept album by WILLIE NELSON titled "Red Headed Stranger"--the album features Nelson's hit version of the country music standard "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain." The LP was released on the Columbia Records label in 1979, is a 2nd Pressing made in Terre Haute, has the serial number KC 33482, is a STEREO issue and was made in the United States.
This LP is in excellent overall condition and the vinyl is in VG++ condition on side one and should play very well, with some light paper scuffs and a few moderate scuffs that may possibly produce a few scattered light pops and light intermittent background noise during quiet passages; side two is in NEAR MINT- condition with just some light paper scuffs that should not significantly affect play. The cover is in VG++ condition with some very light wrinkling of the paper on the opening edges and upper portion of the back cover with a slight separation from the underlying cardboard in a couple of places, slight wrinkling and a few light scuffs on the bottom portions (this is due to moisture exposure but the LP has NO musty scent or mold / mildew issues) and just a few light scuffs and light shelfwear otherwise but NO other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout! The ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE with handwritten lyrics is also included and in great shape overall with a crease on one of the bottom corners and some light wrinkling.
Vinyl Grading Standards (unless otherwise indicated, LPs are visually graded)
Mint (or M) – Sealed and effectively perfect with no signs of wear or ever having been played.
Near Mint -- A record with only the slightest evidence of ever having been handled.
Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) A very clean record that has no marks aside from slight scuffs and abrasions caused by removal from a paper inner sleeve or perhaps a few marks on the label caused by a turntable spindle.
Very Good Plus (VG+) A record that has had a number of plays and may have some superficial scuffs, possibly mild to moderate spindle marks and / or possibly hairline scratches on the vinyl, which may produce some intermittent pops and possibly very light background noise.
Very Good (VG) A record that has generally been well cared for, but has seen a fair amount of play, with some scuffing. hairline scratches, spindle marks and / or light scratches. Should play through well, with the possibility of more pops and more background noise.
Very Good Minus (VG-) A record with significant scuffs, scratches, and spindle marks that should play through with moderate pops and surface noise, possibly of some duration.
Good (G) A record with will play through, but with significant pops, substantial background noise, and possibly intermittent skipping.
Poor (P) A record with MAJOR issues that will interfere with play, and will possibly be unplayable in part due to damage (I'll only offer an LP in this condition if it's an extreme rarity and / or for cover art display purposes).
