Now 25 years old, many of these featured records were seperated from the original box set by DJ's so definitely getting harder to find as a complete boxed set in near mint condition. Here's a very nice 1978 "limited edition" collection of 10 Northern soul classic tunes on the Goldmine Soul Supply labels catalogued as GS1000X and featuring the following classic double siders.
GS 201 - SAM WARD with "SISTER LEE" and backed with THE PROFESSIONALS with "THAT'S WHY I LOVE YOU".
GS 202 - JACKEY BEAVERS with "I NEED MY BABY" and backed with JOE MATTHEWS with "SHE'S MY BEAUTY QUEEN".
GS 203 - LESTER TIPTON with "THIS WON'T CHANGE" and backed with AL WILLIAMS with "I AM NOTHING".
GS 204 - EDDIE HOLMAN with "HURT" and backed with THE FOUR PERFECTIONS with "I'M NOT STRONG ENOUGH".
GS 205 - LEE ANDREWS with "I'VE HAD IT" and backed with LARRY CLINTON with "SHE'S WANTED".
GS 206 - THE AGENTS with "TROUBLE" and backed with LITTLE JOE COOK with "I'M FALLING IN LOVE WITH YOU BABY".
GS 207 - MARTHA STAR with "LOVE IS THE ONLY SOLUTION" and backed with EMANUEL LASKEY with "I'M A PEACE LOVING MAN".
GS 208 - DEE EDWARDS with "ALL THE WAY HOME" and backed with DONI BURDICK with "BARI TRACK".
GS 209 - THE GROUP with "I DON'T LIKE TO LOSE" and backed with GEORGE BLACKWELL with "CAN'T LOSE MY HEAD".
GS 210 - THE BELLES with "DON'T PRETEND" and backed with BETTY BOO with "SAY IT ISN'T SO".
All copies remain in a very strong excellent plus verging more towards mint minus condition with the lightest of surface sleeve rubs not affecting play and play superbly throughout with top audible quality and with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out grooves. All have the solid centre and the labels are very clean on both sides with minimal spindle wear throughout. The original box remains in very good condition without any rips or writing but showing some signs of storage wear on the corners. The matching company sleeves all remain in lovely condition and very much a top boxed set for the DJ or discerning collector (see picture scans).

As this set will sell for an amount in excess of standard Royal Mail compensation levels, it will be shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery "B4-1" service only at a cost of £9.50 in the UK or, overseas by "Signed For" service at the costs indicated.
