Title: White Boy and the Average Rat Band
This is one of the original acetates cut for this rare and legendary Heavy Metal LP back in the very early '80s.


I believe 'White Boy...' was actually just one guy, and he wrote, played and recorded everything by himself. The story behind this release is interesting in itself if you care to look it up.


For reasons I'll not get into yet, I do not think this album was released in 1980, as seems to be the prevailing orthodoxy.
If anyone can confirm it was definitely released in 1980, please get in touch.

This acetate is so rare that it is possibly (and probably) unique. The original vinyl album is rare enough in its own right and if you know about it you are nearly as cool as me.

Vinyl

Both sides of the disc show some hairlines and surface marks here and there, but nothing serious. If yer buying this to play, y' need yer heed lukkin' at!

Sleeve:

The sleeve is a generic paper sleeve as shown (this is an acetate; it was never issued and therefore never came with a sleeve)

UK postage is by 1st-class Signed-For at £5.39 (i.e. the price the UK P.O. charges). I use Royal Mail only.

I post overseas, but not to every place - see below. Please ask for a price. Postage outside the UK will be sent using ebay's Global Shipping.

I don't post to Russia, Africa, South America, The Grove, North Korea, Afghanistan, and several other destinations, so please ask if you live in, for example, Outer Mongolia.

Packaging is free and I know how to pack records for mailing.

I use proper record mailers with two stiffeners and a protective plastic sleeve included.

If you think the postage charges are high, as some people seem to, and despite the excellent packaging being free, (it's not free to me though) you are more than welcome to collect the item from me at your own expense. Bear this in mind when leaving feedback.
