Paul Weller's second solo album was the confirmation we all needed: all that was promised before was coming to fruition. Having moved on from his Style Council days with the disbandment of the group in 1989 - a year that will always be remembered as a game-changer for so many reasons - he first gave us 1992's aptly-titled Paul Weller, spurred on by the success of his single, 'Into Tomorrow', which grazed the UK Top 40 and catalysed a new record deal for the man in question.
By 1993, the idea of a new generation-defining British singer-songwriter emerging in our midst was certainly nothing new. Wild Wood proved it predecessor was no fluke, bagging Weller second spot in the album charts and going on to rank in numerous lists of the best records of the 1990s. From spellbinding acoustic, to jazz and blues infused rock 'n' roll, here's an opportunity to revisit the making of a changing man.
