Description

WOW!!!! This is surely the Holy Grail of Ween collecting: A 1st (and only) pressing of Paintin' The Town Brown: Live '90-98 3 LP set on beautiful BROWN MARBLED vinyl!!  This is not only rare, but in this condition is IMPOSSIBLE to find!!  It is in nearly FLAWLESS Near Mint condition inside and out!!  (I have never used NM as a grade ever before since I haven't felt a copy deserved that grade until now) This is a TOP COPY with NO NEED TO UPGRADE!  You will be hard pressed to find a better copy than this!
WOW!!! nbsp; One of the most sought after vinyl LPs by Ween. this has NEVER been re-issued on vinyl so owning one of these is your only chance to own this Live masterpiece on a vinyl LP!  This is a 1st (and only) pressing of Ween - Paintin' The Town Brown: Live '90-'98 on 3 gorgeous BROWN MARBLED HEAVY DUTY DISCS!  This hardly EVER comes up for sale and when it does it is almost NEVER in this good of condition!!  It is (conservatively) graded all around at NM/NM and strangely, comes with TWO copies of the insert- BOTH in NM condition as well!!  This is without a doubt one of if not the nicest copies you will ever find of this RARE LP!!  TOP COPY!!  See Pics!

Sleeve:
Sleeve: NM This is easily one of the nicest sleeves in existence... here are the only flaws I could find- there is no creasing save for one or two 1cm nearly invisible marks along the top and side, ZERO writing, marking or signs of ring wear.  Looks like it was purchased this morning!  In fact, I have bought several records "Brand New" that had many more manufacturing flaws than this one does nearly 20 years later!!  There are the TINIEST of small bumps to a couple of the corners but are hardly noticeable (see pics) while the rest of the sleeve is in perfect condition- flawless spine, sharp corners (save the two almost unnoticeable bumps) and razor sharp opening with only the most minor sign of wear in one spot (1cm).  Again, looks brand new!  There is a small sticker on the back which would no doubt be easy to remove but I would venture to guess it is original as well. It says No 0288 which may mean it was the 288th copy pressed but that is just my guess.
Discs: NM (all 3 discs!)  Again practically flawless!!  I could hardly even find any hairlines on any disc when held under a bright light!  These discs have been played once or possibly twice MAX and have been stored in high quality MoFi inner sleeves and the entire LP stored inside the highest quality Japanese mylar resealable outer sleeve.  Side 6 has one or two small, superficial marks that would in no way affect playback and would probably clean off with a professional clean. The reflections in the pics are just that- reflections.  I suppose if  I'm being conservative I should grade side 6 as NM-...
Labels: NM  Flawless again, VERY little if ANY signs of spindle wear or play save for one side out of all six sides that almost appears to contain slight rubbing (appears to be from the factory - again, barely noticeable).  NO writing, marking, or any unwanted additions to these labels.  Look brand new!
Inner Sleeves: NM Generic white die cut inner sleeves Near Mint and unsplit.  Little to no signs of wear!
Insert(s): Oddly and rarely this copy came with two identical copies of the picture / lyric insert!  Both are NM, crisp and unmarked with no bends or creases. Both will be included in this sale!!
Overall, this is an UNBELIEVABLY STUNNING TOP COPY of  Ween's rarest vinyl LP on Mushroom records!!  The brown marbled vinyl is gorgeous when help up to the light!!  It hardly ever comes up for auction and when it does, it is never in this good of condition!  This may be your only opportunity to own a TOP COPY of this rare vinyl and never need to upgrade!  I grade conservatively and have tried to highlight any flaws in this record though there are not many to describe.  I have included pictures of everything I could and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!!

I have listed this copy at $400 due to recent sales results and the SUPERB TOP COPY condition of this album!!  However, I am open to offers so give me your best one and I will consider it!  I am very sad to part with this, but it is time to move on and I am now collecting Beatles UK 1st pressings exclusively so would like to continue to acquire more of those.  I know this brilliant record will go to a good home though!  Hail Boognish!!  :)
Shipping varies by location- I will send it 1st class postage here in the U.S.A. with tracking.  If you are overseas it does get fairly expensive to ship but I will only send this album registered and tracked 1st Class International and NOT to every country- if you are outside the U.S.A. and do not live in the UK, Canada, Germany or Australia, please message me before buying. I will package this safely and securely in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer with the disc in a high quality MoFi inner sleeve outside of the jacket and placed into a high quality Japanese mylar resealable outer sleeve with cardboard stiffeners on either side.   I package professionally and the record should arrive in the same condition it left!
I strive for 100% customer satisfaction so in the highly unlikely event that there is a problem, please contact me and I will do everything possible to correct it.  I provide a no-quibble refund if you are not satisfied but I have provided a very thorough and conservative grading, detailed any flaws and provided pictures of any problems that I could spot so please refer to the photos and do not hesitate to ask any questions!  Please see my other listings as I am selling more rare Beatles records and will soon be selling some other very rare records as well as other rare Ween!  I'll soon be listing a NM copy of  Live In Toronto on white vinyl, Shinola Vo.1, Monique The Freak 12" etched single and just maybe a NM 1st pressing of The Pod on Shimmy Disc (if I can part with that one, haha) along with a lot of rare 45's. I'll also be selling some rare My Morning Jacket and Squirrel Nut Zippers in NM condition as well as some very decent, original UK Beatles first pressings on Parlophone and Apple soon so please keep an eye out!  I already have some up for sale as we speak!!  I will happy to combine postage- just please contact me before paying if you would like to do so.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
