Title:   “For Lady”

Label:   PRESTIGE, label is yellow with black text.  Label address is “PRESTIGE RECORDS INC. * 446 W. 50th ST., N. Y. C.”  Catalog number is PRLP 7106.  Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl with deep groove. 

Matrix number is hand-etched in runout area.  “RVG” is machine-stamped.  Address on reverse of jacket is “For free catalog send to PRESTIGE RECORDS, INC., 447 West 50th Street, New York, 19, N.Y.”

Webster Young – cornet;  Paul Quinichette – tenor sax;  Joe Puma – guitar;  Mal Waldron – piano;  Earl May – bass;  Ed Thigpen – drums.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl grades VG++/NM with full original gloss.  Gorgeous vinyl and labels.  Fidelity is superb.  Has been played only a very small number of times, perhaps once or twice, and handled with care.  A very enjoyable listening experience.   

JACKET:  Jacket would grade Excellent except for the fact that there are moisture stains on the front along the top, right, and bottom edges (see photo).  Otherwise, jacket is clean and nice.  Reverse has darkened a bit with age, and is stamped “Not for Sale” on left side.  Name of original owner (Bob King) is handwritten at top center.  Not perfect, but fairly decent overall.
