Please note : This is a 1st press A1 & B1 ORIGINAL not a re-press or duplicate. SO RARE ITS SCAREY!!!!!!! These are gone from sight! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S STILL HERE!!!!!!
Cover condition is excellent with only a few minor signs of age. Some slight wear on the spine but no split, still readable title & cat number. Front cover is free from any ripping or tear with only very slight edge wear on the corners. Left of the "web" on front there are (3) tiny marks. The back has no ripping or tear either & on both the front & back there are no handwritten names in ink or biro pen.
The inside of this E.J.Day group gatefolded cover is in excellent condition all of the lyrics to each vocal track are clear & legible. No ripping or tears & no damp anywhere on this RARE cover. A "GEM production" ORIGINAL!!! overall out of 100% this cover receives 95%
The orange "POLYDOR" labels are immaculate with not a sign of even 1 single spindle mark. Please see the close up photographs provided below this description for a great view to the extreme excellence of the condition. These have no ripping or fade & no handwritten names or tear. Beautiful examples. The outer rims read a machine stamped matrix - 2383024 A1/2383024 B1 followed by 1 1, indicating this is a first press from 1970. Over four decades in age & still looking virtualy brand new. 100% perfect.
The actual record itself is so glossy and shines like the gem it is. There are no breaks or chips to the record & it sits perfectly flat on a turntable. Inspected also under extreme bright white light you can see at a certain angle some very wispy hairlined fractures from the dust inner& nothing to downgrade this very impressive glossy looking & fantastic sounding record.
Please note : NONE of these very minor issues affect any play on any tracks. Really this is on my part being very critical & extreme in my description. This record is nearly 100%.
I happily give 98% for look and 98% for the audio. For as rare a record as this is, thats pretty good i'm sure you'll agree for a vinyl press ORIGINAL from 40 years ago. This has not been handled roughly & there have been no plays for this record in over 35 years. No scratched marks or heavy needle thrash, no pops distortion or skipbacks, no ticks or crackle. Perfectly quiet changes & this type of recording with the way the tracks are played demands that. I've listened through this L.P. Again & its just PERFECT. I'am very critical when it comes down to listing these records, but its better you are delighted instead of dissapointed. So you may get a pleasant suprise upon recieving this item.
You should not be dissapointed... I'am very responsible & careful to grade these records for any new owner, it's important to me that you're more than happy with the description & with what you receive. A VERY RARE record .....you will find it near IMPOSSIBLE to find another record in such a great condition.
Also comes with a plain white inner in excellent condition.
PLEASE NOTE : THIS ITEM IS LISTED AS BUY IT NOW!! if any buyer is not satisfied with this description upon recipt then I will refund in total (within 7 days of recipt of said item) compliying to e.bay rules. I have done my uptmost best to offer quality & provided a very exact & detailed description. A FANTASTIC OPPERTUNITY for any serious collector. Will be insured and ONLY posted special delivery or international signed for. I use box mailers which are tried and tested you can see a picture of these below.
With all this said all that left is to have a look at the close up photographs of this actual item below the end of this description. No effects added, this is exactly as it appears & has been stored out of direct sunlight for its life. Now stored inside a protective polythene inner & awaiting a new home.
Please see my other vinyl this listing, some very rare records listed and up for grabs. Very best of luck in obtaining this fantastic classic prog rarity, one of the very best ever.

>> Grading of Items All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable
Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
