This is a LIVE RECORDING of the important speeches and soings that were heard that day in Washington, DC. This was a day that changed America forever. This day energized and focused the Civil Rights movement and it blossomed across the country from that day forward. This was the day of the now very famous "I HAVE A DREAM" speech by REV. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. And, it is included here in its entirety! Also included are excerpts of speeches by PRESIDENT JOHN KENNEDY [at a press onference earlier], BAYARD RUSTIN, JAMES FARMER, WHITNEY M. YOUNG, JOHN LEWIS, ROY WILKINS, WALTER REUTHER and others.
