Original United States pressing of this hard to find record album.  The copy we are offering here is a Promo, with PROMOTIONAL NOT FOR SALE stamped on the back of the cover.  The record labels read “33 1/3 Microgroove Long Playing” at the top with the address of “New York USA” on both sides.  VAN GELDER is stamped in the dead wax on both sides.  The address on the back of the cover is “43 West 61st St., New York, N.Y. 10023”.  Comes complete with its original Blue Note company inner sleeve.

The recording features Freddie Hubbard on trumpet and flugelhorn, Alan Shorter on flugelhorn, Grachan Moncur III on trombone, James Spaulding on alto sax, Wayne Shorter on tenor sax, Herbie Hancock on piano, Ron Carter on bass, and Joe Chambers on drums.

COVER: The cover grades a strong VG.

VINYL: The record is clean and grades a strong VG+.
