Description
Very rare 2011 Japanese limited edition 200 gram vinyl mono reissue of this Blue Note classic, part of the "From The Master Tapes" series exclusively reissued in Japan. Mastered and cut from the original master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearant Audio, gorgeously warm and rich analog sound quality, maybe the best this has ever sounded. Comes in a super thick and beautiful 60s style tip-on jacket (looks almost identical to an original 60s Blue Note, really amazing job they did), and even a perfect reproduction of the original inner sleeve.
VPI cleaned, record in VG+ to EX condition. PLEASE NOTE- there is unfortunately a scratch at the very end of the 2nd side that causes light ticks for about the last minute or so of the last track (not very noticeable at first, a little louder at the end). The rest plays excellent, awesome sound quality.
(discounted to reflect this defect, these usually go for well over a $100).
The cover is VG+ to EX as well, there are a few very small rubbed-off bits on the front cover (see photo #3), otherwise looks fantastic.
