Description
Original 1987 LP, bought at Sounds record store brand new, opened but still shrink wrapped.
The condition can't be better - the record was opened, played once and put away - Sleeve - Mint, Inner sleeve - nm/Mint, Lyric sheet - nm/Mint , Vinyl - nm/MINT. - it literally looks like it was bought today.
'Sounds' price tag is on the shrink wrap, not the record. FIRST PRESS
Not taking anything away from Discogs, who are pretty meticulous in their research of various releases and pressings, this IS the first press. I think they call it variation of the first press.
"Graffiti Lettering' is what the band was selling at CBs after the show; they also brought a few copies to Some Records, Sounds and Bleeker Bob's. So called Bitmapped lettering sleeves appeared a few weeks later.
Ok, now that I read it more carefully - Discogs Do get it right - here's a quote from their site - "The official pressings of this release are numerous, and the variation most likely first issued was the Fist pressing with the "graffiti" lettering on the back of the jacket. "
