MERRY CHRISTMAS
Unofficial 3 track 12" EP - Original 2,000 copies pressing on the Anonymous label with no catalogue number - this is also one of only a handful of these which came with a Factory Records newsletter, a letter from their drummer, Stephen Morris and a Joy Division biog.

A very, very rare and valuable item for those in the know and a must have for any Warsaw / Joy Division / New Order collector. It was released May 18th, 1981, on the first anniversary of Ian Curtis' death and although an unofficial release, the remainder of the band and their management gave it their blessing with their desire to let the public know what they sounded like as Warsaw, before changing their name to Joy Division and royalties of a form were paid to the remaining members of the band. This is the original pressing on the Anonymous label with no catalogue number and ANON - A1 / B1 etched into the run out grooves. The tracks are taken from the 18th July, 1977 Warsaw sessions, a year after the Sex Pistols gig that changed the world at Manchester's Lesser Free Trade Hall which Barnie and Hookey attended (half the country would later swear they were there) and it was the catalyst for them forming Warsaw. I just let the 7" EP go and although it's causing real heartache to let this one go too, it's time.
It's time to clear out the vinyl as it doesn't get played anymore - I started collecting back in the Punk era and there are some real gems, early releases, unofficial and autographed items that'll surprise you and help complete your collection so keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks and months.
