This is the album by the late Warren Zevon titled "Excitable Boy". 33rpm 12" LP released in 1978 by Elektra/Asylum Records. #6E-118. In stereo. Length: 31:29, 9 songs. I've owned this since it came out where it has been resting in an album rack in my living room and have never played it. Now it's time to thin out my collection. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free, sometimes duplicates. It's in excellent condition. The jacket is in very good condition, still in its original plastic wrap opened at one edge. Sleeve inside contains each songs lyrics and is in mint condtion. Combine auctions and save on shipping.
"Excitable Boy" was his third studio album. It was released on January 18, 1978, by Asylum Records. It includes the single "Werewolves of London" which reached No. 21 and remained in the American Top 40 for six weeks. The album brought Zevon to commercial attention and remains the best-selling album of his career, having been certified platinum by the RIAA and reaching the top ten on the US Billboard 200. Additional singles from the album include: "Johnny Strikes Up the Band", "Excitable Boy", "Nighttime in the Switching Yard", and "Lawyers, Guns and Money".
