WARNER BROTHERS - FIFTY YEARS OF FILM. Warner Brothers Records 3XX2737 US Mono/Stereo 3LP BOX SET 1973. ORIGINAL PRESSINGS ON BURBANK WB LABELS WITH OUTER BOX AND BOOK. Condition: EX (box has light storage wear and a small scuff on reverse/EX(book has light finger marks on cover)/EX+/EX+/EX+(custom inner sleeves)/EX+/EX+/EX+.
Warner Bros records issued this triple album to celebrate Warner Bros studios 50th Anniversary in 1973 and they produced an amazing deluxe set that any soundtrack or film fan would be proud to own! The three LPs feature actual spoken word scenes from Warner Bros films taken directly from the original nitrate and magnetic soundtracks preserved in the WB Sound Department archives. So its packed with classic spoken word dialogue, sound effects and music as heard in the actual film and never released anywhere else! The packaging is stunning with custom Warhol-esque sleeves featuring Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart and Edward G. Robinson, a silver outer box and a sixty page LP sized book packed with colour posters and photographs from the studio's private collection - again many have never been published before or since! I'm also selling the companion WB musicals 3LP set this week - you really do need both sets!!
