Vintage First Records pressing of Beatles for Sale with original cover, as pictured.
Record is in good, played condition in my opinion. I found one notable edge scratch (??) - see listing pic #8 - doesn't appear to extend into album.
Album cover appears to be a piece of heavy paper folded in half and inserted into plastic "bag." Album cover is not sealed or attached on the sides, which appears to be by design. It's only the plastic outer sleeve that holds the lp within.
From what I was able to find about the First Record label on Discogs....."First Record is a label of questionable legality from Taiwan, catering to soldiers (mostly from the US) stationed there. They also did sell to locals. Some sources claim the records were legal in that country, but this is still a controversial point of view. The releases are mostly copies from US or Japanese releases, often with altered colors, and include a wide array of styles."
