Description

You are bidding on a Vogue The Picture Record number R781 by Art Kassel. Songs include I love You (For Sentimental Reasons) (Matrix #148-1A) and Sooner or Later (Matrix #147-1A). This is only 1 of 3 records that were made two toned. An interesting point about the picture on the I Love You side shows a girl laying on the floor and a record is next to her. The picture on the record on the floor is the same as the picture on this Vogue record. These are very limited records and were only made for two years 1946 - 1947 by Sav Way Industries of Detroit MI. A unique production method starting with a metal plate as the core, then a picture applied, vinyl poured and grooves cut. Nearly unbreakable. Colors are strong and vibrant. This disc does have marks and scratches but NO chips or cracks and is over 70 years old. An excellent collectible. Thanks for looking and bidding.
