Description

You are bidding on a Vogue The Picture Record number R755 by The Charlie Shavers Quintet. Songs include Broadjump (Matrix #95-1B) and Serenade To A Pair Of Nylons (Matrix #93-1C). These are very limited records and were only made for two years 1946 - 1947 by Sav Way Industries of Detroit MI. A unique production method was used starting with a metal plate as the core, then a picture applied, vinyl poured and grooves cut. Nearly unbreakable. Colors are strong and vibrant. This disc is in very good condition - does have a black ink spot on each side, minor marks, scratches but NO chips or cracks and is over 70 years old. Thanks for looking and bidding.
