Title: John Henry/Cottonfield Blues
Label: Vocalion #1094

Description: These are two of Henry Thomas' sides released by Vocalion, recorded in Chicago in 1927. 'John Henry' sounds with surface noise and a little distortion at the beginning of the song. 'Cottonfield Blues' plays through with some sounding surface noise and a surface scratch that does not sound much and a small patch of grooves that ticks for a bit (circled above in picture #5). Conservative visual grading based on the VJM grading system. Please look closely at pictures as part of grading and contact with any additional questions/picture requests. Thank you!
