Black and silver label, deep groove, mono, original issue. 10 tracks with Price on tenor sax on all but 1 track ("Mellow Tone") on which he plays alto sax. 5 tracks also indues John Howell, Bill Hanley, trumpets; Paul Crumbagh, trombone; Barrett O'Hara, bass tombone; Bill Calkins, baritone sax; Lou Levy, piano; Max Bennett, bass; Remo Biondi, guitar; Marty Clausen, drums. 5 tracks include Levy, piano; Bennett, bass; Freddie Green , guitar; Gus Johnson, drums. Price's style is comparable to Al Cohn or Zoot Sims. VERY RARE. Cover: VG+ 1" bottom edge split at the insert edge. Light aging on the back cover. Gloss finished front cover. Lamination near the spine has pulled away but is unbroken. 1 corner has some bump creases. Record: Mint Visually shows no wear. There is 1 small light rubn mark on Side 1. Otherwise the balance of the record appears like new. No surface noise. Fine collectable condition. Audibly checked.
