Mambo meets Jazz in this collection from the biggest Mambo Kings of the mid-20th Century. Cover art is by noted artist Jim Flora (whose family website sells the same design on prints, plaques, and other objects. Worth a Google). Super hep and cool liner notes by a cat named Bill Zeitung. Crazy, man.
Vinyl is shiny and sounds great until sometime in Side 2, Track 2 when scratches made my needle skip several times right through the beginning of Side 2, Track 5. I rate it a (G+). Sleeve is great but for strong yellowing around the edge, minor ring wear, and a one inch split at the bottom opening. (VG) There is no original inner sleeve, but record will ship with new white generic sleeve.
