Description


Bought a crate of old records at an estate auction and I think the guy was a collector versus just his old vinyl records laying around.  All of the actual vinyl albums I've seen so far have been very clean looking--some as if they have only been played a few times or not at all.  Finger-prints, light dust, and an occasional smudge AT MOST is all I can see that would keep these from being just like brand new.  I'm sure that if you listened to these you wouldn't hear anything but music (I don't have a turntable so I can't check this claim out, but I'm 45 yrs. old and spent my youth listening to these albums so I'm not completely ignorant).  Anyhow, you are bidding on IN THE BEGINNING by GENESIS.  Through other postings of this album I've learned this is not the GENESIS we've all heard of, it's a band out of  Los Angeles in the 60's. 

ORIGINAL 1969 PSYCH LP GENESIS "IN THE BEGINNING GENESIS" Stereo SR-61175  What's cool and rare about this already rare album is that it is a "PROMOTIONAL COPY.  NOT FOR SALE" which is stated on the album itself.  Notice the inner ring is GOLD MERCURY LABEL not the more common red label.  The cover of the album is also in really good shape with just minor corner wear.  Please e-mail me with any questions!
