Hi there once again eBayers!
Here I am offering a Vinyl Album, The Beatles, "Magical Mystery Tour And Other Splendid Hits". The back of the record has 'The Beatles in Songs and Music from a Color Television Film called "Magical Mystery Tour"'.
Notes:
The cover lists the catalogue number as S/4574 and the label lists it as S-4574.
First Australian release of the the album version. Previously only available as the 2 x 7" record version.
Released in stereo only.
On the back cover George Martin appears as 'Big George Martin', on the labels as just 'George Martin'.
Conservatively, I would rate the vinyl as Very Good+. There is one minor mark. I have played the vinyl and it plays well. It does not click, skip or stick.
Inside the cover is stamped "Peter Duffy". Peter also stamped his name on one side of the label. This record comes from Peter's vast vinyl collection. We have been informed that Peter was a founder of 3RRR FM radio station in Melbourne, Victoria. I have secured Peter's collection and, in general, it is clear that he had eclectic tastes and valued the vinyl highly. Many of the covers show small to significant wear from storage and I have assumed that the covers held very little interest for him.
