Description
A very good play copy which has been carefully cleaned. No serious marks on the vinyl to speak of. Light surface noise under the music. No split seams in the jacket but plenty of seam wear and a price sticker in the upper right corner. Please see pictures.

Recorded at the Five Spot Cafe, New York City; August, 1958. Early stereo reprint, black label with silver print, reel & microphone logo and INC. Updated notes on back mention original "Five Spot" closing in 1962 and reopening "the following year," with Monk playing there again. So this re-release is no earlier than 1963. (INC as well as RS catalog number indicates that this an early reissue between 1960-1964, though liner notes rule out any date before 1963.)

Your record will be carefully packed in a 14" x 14" x 2" Heavy Cardboard box. Unlike many sellers on ebay, we do not use easily damaged record mailers.
The record will be removed from the jacket to prevent seam splits and placed in a plastic outer sleeve.
Both the record and the jacket will be rubber-banded tightly between two cardboard flats. This virtually eliminates the chance of warping in transit.
