Description

Rare Vintage LP "Summit Meeting" Rat Pack Frank Sinatra Dean Martin Sammy Davis Jr.; not an officially released album, possibly "bootleg"' of an August 15, 1962 4:00am show at the 500 Club, Atlantic City, New Jersey. Album issued by Bill Rodstein who operated the Latimer Cafe in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cafe was known as the "Sinatrama Room" which was considered "a shrine to the life and works of Frank Sinatra" as quoted by Earl Wilson on the album cover. Several different album paste covers were used; this one being a still from the movie, Robin and the Seven Hoods, which starred Frankie, Dino and Sammy. This paste over is on Skip Martin's Can-Can album sleeve; as seen in photo, glue has seeped through the thin paper. As also can be seen, there are several disclaimers. LP is in good condition and every drunken slur made can be heard along with some crooning. This album is considered the rarest of the three "summit" recordings and probably of any "recordings" done by the Rat Pack.
