Description
Eagles Hotel California LP, MFSL (Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs), test pressing, Side A only, with only a plain cover and the vinyl record. Appears to be overall as mint, clean vinyl and blank reverse is clean, in perfect condition or nearly so; I've kept this album since the 80's when I acquired it from a friend who got it from a salesperson at MFSL. The record has been cleaned only with a microfiber brush, never liquid, and stored in a clean rice sleeve in a pet and smoke-free home for decades; I know how to take care of my records. It's time to let an Eagles fan a chance to enjoy it. In my thinking, lacking the second side is nothing...these are far too rare, and I presume you have the whole record in another format anyhow. The blank side is spotless and has never seen a needle's action, and side A was played twice on a high quality turntable and Grado cartridge. There can't be many of these copies made, I don't see too many one sided records out there--could almost be the first contact with the mother disc stamper in all reality, and probably the closest way to hear the highest fidelity without stealing the master tapes. Includes Hotel California, New Kid in Town, Life in the Fast Lane, and Wasted Time. This album was released 41 years ago this month, and the album won a Grammy! Go back to the 70's, it was safer then...get this now, or wait forever until another surfaces...good luck!
