Description
Offering a rare 78 RPM first edition of RCA Victor's release of Elvis Presley singing Jailhouse Rock and on reverse side, Treat Me Nice. Not play tested. Very nice condition as pictured
Good to Excellent condition - I am marking a wide range here as I have not found any scratches or imperfections that are notable or should affect playing. But as I have not tried playing this record, it was stored in a haphazard way in an attic in an RCA paper envelope, and while I played and loved records as I grew up, I am not an expert in assessment, so I cannot be definitive on the upper end of quality. Please check with me for any specifics and I will do my best to accurately expand on them.
I am not an expert on antique/vintage items...I just list items that I believe are special, of value, and worthy of preservation and appreciation. I sell from my smoke-free home. All items listed this week are of particular special interest to me as they all come from the 1903 farmhouse near our own, built by the same builder as our house. Sadly this house fell into disrepair and was taken down last week. It means a lot to the family, and to me, to see what previous generations have saved going on to be loved.
100% of proceeds from these auctions are going directly to the farm family who has owned this house. If you look at other like items on ebay, you can see these are priced to sell with no reserve - your bids are very appreciated!
