Description

This listing is for a vintage wooden Peaches Record Crate Kit from the 1970s! This crate is un-assembled and unused and STILL in the original box! Extremely difficult to find these crates!
In the 1970's, Peaches Records grew to be one of the largest and most popular record store chains in the world. Peaches had the largest music stores and the most extensive selection of music available.
Peaches record stores sold record crate kits to customers. Many of the assembled Peaches record crates have survived and they are still very popular with collectors. But the un-assembled crate kits are EXTREMELY rare and rarely come up for sale!
Considering the condition and rarity, this record crate kit is definitely a collector's item which would make a great addition to any serious collection! Obviously, you could assemble this crate using the slats and nails which are included in the kit. You can customize the crate any way you want. As the back of the box explains, all you'll need is a hammer!
This kit is in great shape overall! It's nearly 50 years old so there's bound to be a couple of minor issues here and there. Aside from some damage to the end paper (see pics), there's not much wrong with it! You'd be hard pressed to find a better example! Please view listing photos for details on condition.
Again, this is a VERY rare vintage item which will continue to increase in value. Definitely a great investment which will continue to go up in value year after year! " NOTE: The kit shown in the last photo is for display purposes only! I purchased these crates from the owner of an old record store in Fort Worth, TX. You'll receive the record crate shown in the first four photos.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING! Item will be carefully packed and shipped via UPS GROUND and should arrive in approximately 4-5 business days. Please keep in mind shipping could be slightly delayed due to the pandemic!
THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
