Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 6 records (Longer Playing 12" 78) on the attractive red and gold Victrola scroll (Orthophonic) label. It is Set M-13 (on seam binding of cover, but no Set numbers on the records themselves). It is by Fritz Kreisler, Violin and the State Opera Orchestra-Berlin, conducted by Dr. Leo Blech performing Beethoven: "Concerto In D Major"-Op.61. The records proceed from First Movement through Third Movement-concluded (Kreisler Cadenza) on the first 11 sides. The 12th side is a great extra with Kreisler performing Bach: "Partita In G Minor"-Adagio. The records are in excellent to E+ condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few (if any), light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean! Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition, the older type cover with raised gold lettering on the outside (Musical Masterpieces on Victor Records). Another great early Orthophonic Set!!
