Description

This is a special 3 record set promoted as an Original Master Recording set.

The Victory At Sea musical score was created by Richard Rogers and Robert Russell Bennett was the arranger-conductor. 

The 3 records come in separate albums and a booklet comes with the set.  A special box made for the set is also included.

The booklet introductions states in part:

"The Original Master Recording limited edition set, VICTORY AT SEA, vividly chronicles one of the most acclaimed musical scores of our time."

It further states:

"Once the VICTORY AT SEA original master tapes arrived at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, they were auditioned through the company's customized reference tape transport system for audio evaluation.  Then a rough cut or reference lacquer was created for critical study of the tapes' true high fidelity potential."

"All Original Master Recordings utilize our exclusive "Half-speed mastering" process, during which the grooves are actually cut into a master lacquer disc by our Neumann cutting lathe and Ortofon cutting system..."

These records are BRAND NEW.

These records have NEVER BEEN PLAYED.

NO NEEDLE HAS EVER BEEN ON THESE RECORDS.

The booklet and box are in mint condition too.
